About Me

Oliver Gerrish studied singing Countertenor under Patrick Craig and Bertie Rice while at Harrow School. From there he won a choral scholarship to King's College Cambridge and Lichfield Cathedral 2000/01. He won a place to study at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and studied there under David Pollard and Andrew Watts.

He has studied with Ashley Stafford and currently learns with Nicholas Clapton. Oliver has performed with Capella Nova, La Nuova Musica and The Amaryllis Consort and is a member of 'Schola', The Gibbs Sextet and 'il Suono'. He regularly performs alongside Meeta Raval and Lynn Carter in 'Ravishyn'.

As well as solo work, Oliver sings regularly with the choirs of Westminster Abbey, St Paul's Cathedral, St. Bride's Fleet Street, St. Bartholomew the Great and The Brompton Oratory.
